Dr. Lynn E. Priddy
Dr. Lynn E. Priddy’s career of more than 30 years has focused exclusively on higher education, where she is known as a collaborative change agent and passionate speaker. She is currently the Provost and Chief Academic Officer of National American University, which serves adult students at 35 campuses and over 80 undergraduate and graduate programs. Dr. Priddy oversees all academic operations, research, and central and campus-based student services.
Previously, she was Vice President for Accreditation Services at The Higher Learning Commission (HLC), the largest regional accreditor in the United States, where she provided oversight for fiscal, operational, and strategic initiatives related to the Commission’s accreditation services. During her tenure at HLC, she also served in the roles of Director of Education and Training and Peer Review, as well as Assistant Director of the Peer Corps and Support Processes. Prior to that, she was Director of Institutional Research and Assessment, then Vice President of Institutional Planning, Effectiveness, and Improvement at Nicolet College, where she received the Board Award for outstanding service.
Dr. Priddy has a Ph.D. in Higher Education from Capella University; a Masters of Arts in English and Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities, where she was named Young Researcher of the Year; and a Bachelors of Arts in English from the State University of New York.
