Dr. Dimitrios Pispinis
Experienced academic, Dr. Dimitrios Pispinis serves as Assistant Professor of Mathematics and Director of the Math Center at AUBH. In his 30 years of teaching experience, he has taught mathematics at various levels and helped numerous students from different cultural backgrounds succeed in their studies.
Before joining AUBH, Dr. Pispinis taught Mathematics for Business and Engineering students at Hafar Al Batin University in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He participated in the establishment of the Math Department, where he served as a Coordinator while supervising senior projects and leading the Student Math Club. In earlier years, he worked in the Education Department and Minorities Program at Indiana University. In Greece, he served at the American College and the Greek High School System, where he actively participated in the organization of the National Mathematical Olympiads, and trained students for the event. His research interests include analysis and geometry, and their applications to physics.
After completing his Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Athens University, Greece, Dr. Pispinis received his Master of Science and Ph.D. from Indiana University Bloomington, USA. During his studies, he was awarded with the Rothrock Teaching Award for Associate Instructors.
