AUBH Launches New Bachelor's Degree Programs for 2020-2021 Academic Year
The American University of Bahrain (AUBH), Bahrain’s first purpose-built American-style University, has expanded its portfolio of academic offerings with the introduction of two new degree programs. A Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science will begin in September 2020 and enrollment is now open. This announcement follows the recent news that AUBH is in process of forming an academic partnership with California State University, Northridge (CSUN), located in the city of Los Angeles. CSUN is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) and a number of field-specific accreditors.
AUBH’s Founding President, Dr. Susan E. Saxton commented: “We are very proud to expand our academic offerings. These new degree programs offer pathways into rapidly growing sectors, both regionally and globally, and have already received significant interest from applicants. I look forward to welcoming the first of many cohorts to these new programs.”
The AUBH admission process is proceeding for the 2020-2021 academic year. The University has streamlined the application process and waived the seat reservation fee to assist GCC students who have decided not to return to their international studies. The dedicated Admissions team is supporting students with applications by offering alternative English proficiency examinations due to the widespread cancellation of international exams.
