Dr. Susan E. Saxton, President of the American University of Bahrain, and the CEO of Mumtalakat, Mr. Khalid Al Rumaihi, welcomed the Vice President of Amazon Web Services, Ms. Teresa Carlson, and Ms. Maggie Nardi, Deputy Chief of Mission, of the U.S. Embassy on the AUBH campus yesterday.

The guests and their delegations, along with AUBH Board members, discussed innovative ways that AUBH can partner with AWS and the U.S. Embassy. They highlighted the importance of cloud technology, and how it is transforming the education sector. The visit ended with a tour of the newly-built 75,000 square meter state-of-the-art campus located in Riffa.
